Journey to the Deep: Thailand Yoga Retreat

Join psychologist and yogi Dr. Arezou Ghane for this inward and outward journey to the island of Koh Samui.


Included:
Daily yoga and guided meditations
Body and soul nourishment
Fresh, organic, locally sourced food
5 nights accommodations at a private yoga retreat space
Beach and garden access
Option to join for group hikes, visits to local temples and shrines
Option to join in an excursion to the Samui Elephant Sanctuary

Also included:
- Private Yoga space for our group
- Yoga equipment (mats, blocks, straps, cushions)
- Two healthy vegetarian (with vegan options) meals per day
- Shower towels, beach towels, umbrellas, complimentary tea and coffee in rooms (power adaptors, hairdryers, irons are available upon request)
- Access to additional yoga classes hosted by Vikasa Staff
- Sky Gym use with breathtaking sea view

7:00 – 8:00 - Meditation and themed discussion
8:00 – 9:00 - Morning yoga practice
9:30 – 11:30 - Brunch buffet
11:30 – 4:30 - Optional hike/group activity OR free time
6:30 – 8:30 - Dinner buffet
9:00pm – 9:30 - Evening meditation and community check in.

FREE! You and your family are warmly invited to Festival of Yoga, one of San Diego's largest yoga festivals in celebration of the United Nations International Day of Yoga. Festival of Yoga is on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 8:00AM – 3:00PM at San Diego's beautiful Waterfront Park. 

The event will feature two vibrant community yoga classes, live music, vendor booths and a variety of breakout sessions to inspire and empower yogis of all ages, levels and walks of life... all for FREE! Bring along your friends and family for a great day of Yoga in the Park!

Dr. Arezou Ghane of Auteur will be teaching the Twists Breakout Session at 12:45pm-1:30pm

At the last festival in 2017, the festival had nearly 800 yogis in attendance, 40 vendor booths and a wide variety of unique breakout classes. With an expanded slate of offerings, we look forward to a bigger and better event in 2018, bringing together even more yogis!

Unlocking the Power of Gratitude

This workshop will include: 

A lecture and discussion on the neurobiology of gratitude, and the scientifically-backed benefits of a gratitude practice.  

An all-levels yoga practice, to cultivate and embody gratitude. 

A guided therapeutic writing/journaling exercise. 

And a closing meditation on gratitude. 

 

Please bring a mat, journal, and pen.
